Royal Grid is a calm logic puzzle in which every puzzle has exactly one solution that you can find without guessing. You place a crown in every row, every column and every color region, but no two crowns may touch each other anywhere, not even diagonally. You start on small 5 by 5 boards and work your way up to 9 by 9. The hint button also explains why a square must hold a crown.
You click or tap a square to place a crown there and once more to remove it. Squares that are ruled out automatically get a dot.
